The wind blew high this day!

So I applied probabilistic noise reduction- 'trained upon' the sound
of wind gusts, particularly in frequencies below 100 hz- to the recording.
This cuts those frequencies during a statistical match with the shape of wind.
Note this only reduces the volume of those frequencies- so the noise is still
present, just lowered in intensity.

Its not perfect, but the result is far more listenable than raw- slashing the wind
while preserving depth below the warm-fuzzy fat crunchiness of phil's new bass.

The recording still has that 'high-end' schwirl from the sound-waves surfing
along the wind-currents.

HOW R E A L L Y B A D THESE SOCALLED 'CONCERTS' SOUNDED? COMPARED TO THESE WE REALLY DO GET HERE A GRAMMY-WORTH ACT, INNIT?
IT'S TRUE: JACKIE HAD BETTER NIGHTS, CHINA/RIDER IS A BIT WEAK COMPARED TO OTHER PERFORMANCES, BUT 'DEAL' NEVER SOUNDED MORE CHICAGO-CARDGAME-CLUBBISH, 'BERTHA' REMINDED OF THE GOOD OL' GRATEFUL DEAD 'COS OF THE SEARCHING-FOR-THE-CORRECT-RHYTHM';-)))

Subject: gets better as it goes

The first song sounds worse then the rest. Either that or you get used to the edit. I'd rather have it a bit canned then wind torn though. Phil still soundin' nice and lively. Maybe not jackie's best of the summer, but still pretty great. Really liked the school girl and the franklin's. We'll get em next time Hopely! Can't wait for Dead next summer... keep up w your Yoga Bob. Peace & Love

please ignore the rather rude comment on this one . . how rude! if you read the "notes" section or the info file you'd realize everything you mentioned has been stated before

oh, and the sound is fine, and the plying is great.. 5 stars

Subject: Great show shit recording

The rosemary dyndys people strike again.
I am sure that what they are doing is commendable.
I aint no expert but I want to hear a gig as it happened as opposed to mixing it, editing it etc.
hatever you have done, my music centre hates it!!

There was a guy who used to remix everything through a console he used to call 'Bertha'.
Most of them were crap too.

May I recommend you listen to the new Rocking the Cradle set from Egypt. Superb.

That is a proper recording.

Give me recordings by NAKguy any time.

I think you should change your name to P. welivein hopely for a ecent recording by you mate.

Better than nothing but ait for a better release.

This is like a poor cam copy of a movie you really wanna see.

You get it until something better comes along
